As I mentioned in my post, My super simple intro to keto, ready -to- eat keto snacks whether in store or online, are almost non-existent here in Barcelona. Due to this, I have resorted to making my own snacks. I really don’t like spending a lot of time making them, so I want it to be quick and easy. My snacks aren’t fancy, and the ingredients are pulled from my regular shopping list. I did not come up with all of these on my own, but I love them so I included them in my 5 favorite keto snacks list.
Pickles, pepperoni and cream cheese
This is a new addition to my snack list. I learnt it from Tik Tok…. don’t judge me! Also, don’t knock it ‘til you try it. The popular deli pickle is not the easiest thing to find in the supermarkets, instead they have a tiny version called gherkin pickles. They are crunchy and delicious. Just get some pepperoni, place a little dollop of cream cheese on them and wrap it around the pickle (I cut in half). The sliced butter pickles would stack perfectly on this!

Cheese with chicken salad
If you haven’t checked out my keto chicken salad, please do so for this yummy snack. I just plop two spoons of my chicken salad on a slice of mozzarella (you can use your favorite sliced cheese) and make it like a taco and enjoy! I have two of these chicken salad cheese tacos for a quick snack.

Pork rinds and chicken salad
Again, with this snack I use my yummy chicken salad (that’s why I always like to have some in the fridge). I use the pork rinds as my ‘chip’ and the chicken salad as my ‘dip’. Super quick and easy, and if you have the chicken salad already made, no prep work!

Pepperoni and mozzarella cheese
For this tasty snack, I use my mini waffle maker but you could also make it in a pan on the stove. In the waffle maker, layer the pepperoni, sprinkle some mozzarella cheese and then layer more pepperoni on top. Make just like you would a waffle. It comes out crispy. I’m not much of a sauce person, but you could dip this in some sugar free marinara sauce.

Strawberries and homemade whipped cream
For a sweet tooth snack, this one is my favorite. You will need ¼ cup of heavy cream, ¼ teaspoon of vanilla, sweetener of your choice to taste (I use 2-3 packets of truvia). Whip those ingredients with a hand blender or whisk until fluffy. Cut up a few strawberries (not too many, watch those carbs!) and top with your homemade whipped cream.

These are my 5 favorite keto snacks. They are quick, easy and delicious. Let me know if you love them too! If you have any suggestions of quick, easy and yummy snacks to add to my list drop me a line in the comments.
